JOIN YOUR FARM & ART TOUR™ County PLANNING TEAM
The Farm & Art Tour™ is the Mid-Atlantic’s answer to South Carolina’s successful and long running Ag + Art Tour, Vermont’s Open Farm Week, and similar open farm tour events across the U.S.
The benefit tour is scheduled over multiple weekends and is free to visitors. Participating farms host a lively schedule of performance artists, fine craft artisans, vendors, and ticketed educational workshops in addition to offering their own unique programs or tours.
A key success factor for the tour is a solid county tour planning team whose members represent both community members and staff from multiple organizations including those from agriculture, arts, culture, economic, rural, community development, and local business enterprise.
For the 2025 tour, AgVenturesUS is inviting Main Streets, Arts & Entertainment Districts, and downtown business members from each participating county to create unique promotions for their county’s designated tour weekend. Local farm markets and heritage farm sites are also encouraged to join as featured stops along the tour.
The AgVenturesUS team and contracted marketing partners support county tour planning teams by providing tools and assets to manage all marketing, organizational, production and fund raising tasks—from pre-event to post-event wrap—all hosted on FarmX™, the tour’s event management software platform.
The shared goal for planning teams is to maximize tour attendance while optimizing the tour experience for visitors and counties’ participating farms.
Join a team and show off your county’s unique agricultural heritage while supporting your participating farms and small businesses.
Each participating county is featured on the tour website.
